HOW DO I PLACE A CUSTOM ORDER?

Submit an Order Inquiry by clicking the link above. Availability for custom orders is frequently updated and posted in bold text on the Order Inquiry page. Please make sure we have availability for your requested date prior to submitting your inquiry. Since Sugared Up Cookies is a small cottage bakery, we are limited to the number of orders we can fulfill weekly, and we often are booked months in advance! (We really wish we could accept every order!)

Your inquiry will be reviewed within 2 business days. At that time, we will let you know if we are available to take your order and work out design details and pricing with you. Please check your spam folder if our response doesn’t reach your inbox.

Once the details of your order are confirmed, you will receive an Order Confirmation Agreement via email. This document must be signed and returned via email.

Please note: Payment in full is required at the time of booking to reserve your date. Please be advised that if payment is not made by the date on your agreement (generally 2 days from receipt), your date may be released without notice to another client.

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?

Turnaround time will vary based on the quantity of your order and the complexity of your design.

Please give us as much advance notice as possible! Our production calendar often books weeks in advance, especially around major holidays. We typically need at least 4 weeks’ advance notice for custom orders, but please keep in mind we are often booked months in advance. We reserve the right to deny your order if we are booked or if we cannot accommodate your design requests.

PRICING INFORMATION

Pricing for custom sugar cookies starts at $75/dozen for our Signature Flavors and may increase incrementally based on the intricacy of the design and the level of artistry involved to achieve your desired end result. Hand-decorated character cookies and designs with extensive hand painted details start at $125/dozen. Please contact us with your cookie theme and quantity and we can give you a quote for your creation.  There is a 2-dozen minimum for each custom order.

CANCELLATION POLICY, ORDER CHANGES & NO-SHOWS

To receive a full refund, your order must be cancelled by the date noted in your “Order Confirmation Agreement” contract. Orders may not be cancelled and no refund will be given after this date.

This same date applies if you wish to make changes to your order, including design alterations or an increase/decrease in quantity. Changes requested after this date will not be accommodated in consideration of our other clients. If you would like to add to your order, we can only add ONE additional dozen (12 cookies). Please discuss with Sugared Up Cookies and receive confirmation for any cookies you wish to add to your original order. Payment for additional cookies is due within 24 hours or the additional cookie request will be cancelled.

If your event is postponed due to illness, we offer contactless pickup. You can keep your cookies frozen in an airtight container for up to three months without compromising the quality, giving you time to get well and reschedule! Freezing instructions are included with every order.

Clients who do not pick up their order within 48 hours of their scheduled pickup date must understand that their cookies will be forfeited and donated to a local charity, police or fire department. We do not offer storage services due to limited resources.

ALLERGEN & SPECIAL INGREDIENT REQUESTS

Even though we take custom orders, we do not offer cookies that are gluten free, sugar free, dairy free, egg free or vegan. Sugared Up Cookies produces bakery goods that use wheat flour, butter, sugar, eggs, dairy, peanuts and/or tree nuts and we do our best not to cross contaminate work surfaces. However, if you are concerned about ANY type of allergy, we strongly advise against placing an order and/or consuming our cookies. Each order is labeled with our full ingredient list and allergen information, and each cookie is packaged with a QR code on the back which can be scanned for a complete ingredient and allergen list.

PACKAGING & PRESENTATION

Each cookie comes individually packaged in a crystal clear, adhesive-sealed food-grade plastic bag. In compliance with San Bernardino County Cottage Law, all of our cookies also have a label on the back with a QR code which can be scanned for ingredient and allergen information. Cookies come boxed in dozens in a bakery-style box with a clear window and padded with crinkle-shredded paper. All boxes will have a 4×6 ingredient label on the lid and are secured with tamper-resistant seals and elastic stretch loops with a bow. Packaging is included in your price and is non-negotiable. For orders of 100 cookies or more, your cookies may be packaged in larger bakery boxes appropriate for safe transit and easier distribution.

SCHEDULING YOUR PICK-UP

Orders are available for pickup from our residential location in Chino, CA; We do not deliver. Be advised that in order to ensure the freshest, tastiest cookies, they should be picked up at the prearranged date and time. Your pickup details are prominently displayed on your Order Confirmation Agreement document. PLEASE BE PROMPT and treat your pickup like an appointment! Clients are given a one-hour window of their choosing at the time the agreement is written. If you miss your window we may not be available to hand over your order.

If you need to reschedule your pickup, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you if we are able.

SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

Please be advised that all cookies we create may be featured on our social media pages (Instagram, TikTok and Facebook). This includes posts, photos, videos, reels, tutorials, commentary and similar content. Clients should be aware that the cookies in their order may appear online prior to taking possession of their cookies.

If the client would prefer that their cookies NOT be posted online until after the client has picked up their order or held their event, it is the client’s responsibility to notify Sugared Up Cookies to withhold media content regarding their order until after a specified date.

HOW DO YOUR HOLIDAY PRESALES WORK?

Any dates surrounding major holidays tend to be our busiest times of year. Since we receive a massive increase in requests for cookies at these times, we do not take custom orders, but instead offer a limited-time “presale” with a selection of exclusive predetermined design options.

Here’s how it works:

The presale goes live on our website. Simply click the link, and you will be redirected to an online shopping page.

Make your selections and fill out the required fields if options for flavor and customization are available.

Go to your shopping cart and securely check out using your debit or credit card, just like regular online shopping! There is no need to contact us and you will receive a receipt and confirmation to the email address you provided. Make sure you take note of your pickup date and time when you check out!

Visit our location to pick up your order on the date that you selected upon checkout. Pickups are restricted to the dates and times indicated on your checkout form.
